Membership is open to well-established yacht designers that appreciate the value of innovation and a cooperative approach.

Reasons to join
SYDNA membership is intended for established design and naval architecture practices with a proven track record in the superyacht sector. To apply, a company must have been in continuous operation for at least 10 years and have designed and successfully delivered a minimum of 10 projects over 30 metres within the past decade, including new builds, major refits or full conversions. Only realised, launched and delivered projects are considered.

By maintaining these clear entry criteria, the association ensures a shared professional standard and a peer environment where members can exchange knowledge, represent the discipline collectively and contribute to the long-term development of yacht design and naval architecture.

Joining process
Step 1
Membership eligibility:
To become member of SYDNA, your interior or exterior design company or naval architect company must:

Have been in existence for at least 10 years, and
-
Have designed and successfully delivered at least 10 projects (new designs and/or major refits and/or full conversions) over 30 meters in the last 10 years. Please note that only realized, launched and delivered projects will be considered.
Step 2
​Complete the application form and submit this to the secretariat via post or e-mail.
Step 3
Your membership application will be taken to the board and subsequently to all SYDNA members for approval.
