FM Architettura d’Interni

FM Architettura d’Interni is an award-winning Italian design studio, recognised in the prestigious AD100 list in 2024 and 2025, that specialises in bespoke interiors for superyachts, homes, branded residences and luxury hotels. 

Founded in 2009 by Francesca Muzio, we believe that architecture and interior design do more than enclose space: they narrate who we are, how we live, and how we experience the world. Our vision is to craft environments that become enduring companions to their inhabitants, spaces that evolve, tell stories, and anchor emotions. 

Operating from our creative base in Milan and headquarters in Ancona (Marche), we manage a multidisciplinary team of around 50 professionals—including architects, engineers, and designers—who oversee each project through every phase, from ideation and planning to project management, custom interiors, and bespoke furniture solutions. 

Every design begins with a unique creative process, and our expertise enables us to unite technical accuracy with artistic vision, shaping interiors that truly embody each client’s character, passions and lifestyle. 

With extensive experience in luxury interiors, we possess a profound knowledge of the most exquisite and rare materials. Partnering with an ecosystem of over 200 Italian artisans enables us to ensure uncompromising craftsmanship and a lasting commitment to detail, seamlessly incorporating the most beautiful design elements that enhance depth, soul, and character in each space. 

From ideation, conception and project management to custom interiors and unique furniture, we’re guided by our ethos “I am my home” to create environments that embody individuality and stand as lasting expressions of personal legacy. 

Our portfolio extends across both sea and land, showcasing our expertise through the design of signature and presidential suites at Shangri-La at The Shard in London, the atmospheric Palazzo Doria Pamphilj overlooking Rome’s Piazza Navona, the forthcoming Mandarin Oriental Etiler in Istanbul, as well as ongoing collaborations with Shang Properties in Manila, including the distinctive Aurelia Residences and Haraya Residences. 

On the water, flagship vessels include the 71m M/Y Stella M (Feadship - Van Lent), the 60m M/Y Akula (Rossinavi) and the 88m M/Y Zen (Feadship - Van Lent), alongside visionary projects such as the residential superyacht M/Y Ulyssia.
